**Job Requisition ID #** 25WD87227 **Position Overview** As a Cinematographer on the Media Productions team at Autodesk, you will work closely with the team and our clients to ensure proper execution of video production projects from ideation through final delivery. The Media Productions team is seeking a Cinematographer with an accomplished background in on set video production to deliver beautifully captured content to support the needs of our internal on-demand and live project requests. In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager of Media Productions, based in the greater Bay Area. The team provides technology and media production support that delivers compelling and engaging content to all divisions across the enterprise with the goal of maximizing visibility, engagement and impact. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate closely with internal clients and external partners to help create various production projects and assets + Travel to shoot locations for scouting and developing pre-production assets + Comfortable working with vendors to reserve and ship required equipment + Exceptional skills in operating cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment to capture engaging and aesthetically pleasing footage in person and fully remote + Possess a great eye for composition and how to tell a story though a shot + In depth understanding of lighting techniques and how to use them to affect emotions of content + Understanding of all on-set production roles with the ability to wear multiple hats if needed + Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition + Proper management of media assets including usable take flagging + Develop a look book for our most common formats + Capture and evaluate analytics to calculate a project's ROI based on predefined success metrics + Provision, maintain and organize Autodesk Media Production studio spaces and video equipment + Advanced expert role, requiring deep subject-matter knowledge and sound business acumen to advise leaders + For jobs at this level, knowledge of the business starts to become as important as subject-matter knowledge + Incumbents translate specialized subject-matter requirements into business needs/requirements + Require depth of specialized expertise to interpret internal/external business issues and recommend best practices to address them + Solve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutions + Work independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situations + Adapt communication style to persuade various stakeholders across the business and frequently interact with senior leaders to provide advice and SME + May lead functional teams or programs within own function (or closely related functions) **Minimum Requirements** + 8+ years of hands-on experience with developing web-based video content + Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Iconik, Kaltura, OpenReel, Singular.live, AirTable, SharePoint + B.A. in film production or similar field or equivalent experience + Quick decision-making ability under pressure + You can balance competing priorities and work alone or within a team equally well + You have excellent reliability, dependability, and integrity + You have solid attention to detail, accuracy and are highly organized + You have great people and communication skills and are driven to solve people's problems **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $122,400 and $198,000. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
