Job Title: Dental Hygienist Assistant
Location: Hopkins, MN 55343
Duration: 3+ Months (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: $33/hr. on W2
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Hygienist Assistant to join our care team. In this role, you will provide critical support to the dental hygiene staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and quality patient care. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization.
Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment procedures.
Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
Manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
Support hygienists with patient scheduling, treatment recommendations, and recall systems.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and industry standards.
Prior dental assisting experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
N/A
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree or certification in Dental Assisting preferred, but not required.
Six (6) hour X-ray training certification (required).
CPR certification (required).
