Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to support the migration of VUX from on-premises infrastructure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) . This role will be part of Ulises' team and will involve extensive work in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and OCI deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Terraform , Ansible , and cloud-native DevOps practices , particularly in OCI or similar environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the VUX migration project from on-premise to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Automate server and application configurations using Ansible
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application dependencies and cloud resource needs
• Set up and manage OCI resources including compute, storage, VCN, and IAM
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployment
• Ensure performance, availability, and scalability of cloud-hosted environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and system performance
• Document procedures, architectures, and scripts related to deployment and configuration

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform
• Solid working knowledge of Ansible for configuration management
• Proven experience with cloud migrations ideally to OCI , but AWS/Azure acceptable if adaptable
• Experience managing Linux-based infrastructure in cloud environments
• Understanding of networking, firewalls, VCNs , and IAM roles
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Shell)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

Nice-to-Have:

• Direct experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Knowledge of VUX platform or similar enterprise systems
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OCI Monitoring)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a distributed team

Work Hours:

India Standard Time (IST) must be flexible to collaborate with global teams
