Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Johnson City, TN.  Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• As an electronics Technician, you'll be troubleshooting and resolving complex electronics issues.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic assemblies using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
• Performing soldering (both SMT and through-hole) and hands-on circuit repairs
• Building and maintaining custom test rigs and ensuring test equipment is regularly calibrated
• Assisting engineers in research and development activities—prototyping, testing, and assembling electronics for new products
• Investigating returned products and supporting root cause analysis on customer issues
• You'll work closely with a collaborative team of Technicians and Engineers with the chance to expand your skills across technical domains.
• Comfortable using technical documentation and managing equipment records
• Working with test equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing
• Creating test circuits
• Wiring
• Test rigs to test our units
• Surface mount soldering under a microscope
• Working with the database Team to complete development.
• It's a typical tech position and will also be by the engineers' side, doing hands-on work.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $28.00/ hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (1 st shift)

Length: Temp (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics diagnostics, circuit testing, and fault finding
• Minimum 2 years of experience with soldering, wiring, reading schematics, and building electronic assemblies

Preferred Skills:

• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
