  • Coordinate with Project Teams: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Maintain Safety: Enforce all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment for the crew.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in road construction, with a significant portion of that experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrable expert-level proficiency in finish grading and a thorough understanding of its critical importance for proper drainage and pavement longevity.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in land clearing, earthwork, subgrade preparation, base course installation, and paving operations.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, surveys, and project specifications.
  • Strong working knowledge of various types of heavy equipment used in road construction and the ability to operate them proficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb on and off heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work in dusty and noisy environments.

Schedule:
