Your Role at Baxter

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating and leading logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Your Team

Cleveland’s technology and automation is innovative. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly.

What you'll be doing:

• Oversee and manage the organization's logistics operations, ensuring optimal delivery of goods and services to meet customer requirements.
• Implement logistics control best practices and systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Arrange for transportation and shipping of goods, including scheduling and tracking of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve any logistics-related issues.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels to meet operational needs.
• Implement inventory control best practices and systems to maintain accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reductions .
• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials, to meet production targets.
• Optimize resource utilization to enhance production efficiency.
• Generate and present regular reports on logistics performance, including on-time delivery rates, inventory levels, and adherence to KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with logistics control policies and maintain comprehensive documentation of logistics-related processes.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving logistics processes, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.

What you'll bring

• Education: High School or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or related role.
• Proficiency in logistics management data analysis tools, including ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• APICS CPIM, CLTD or CSCP would be a plus .
• Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in-group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $41,600 - $57,200 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
