Geisinger is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full time opportunity at our ConvenientCare+ urgent care clinic in Selinsgrove, PA. The Geisinger Selinsgrove ConvenientCare+ clinic provides patients with an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. ConvenientCare+ offers a $10,000 recruitment incentive, an attractive schedule with 14 rotating shifts per month, no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts. Shifts are 12 hours (Monday-Friday) and 10 hours (Saturday-Sunday). The role allows working autonomously with onsite physician support and limited administrative burden. Support staff includes Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebotomy, Radiology Techs. Specialized equipment includes telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring. Diagnostics available onsite include X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI. Hospital admissions can be made directly from this hospital-based clinic if necessary. Services include diagnostics such as laboratory and imaging studies and various treatments. The position requires a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Nurse Practitioner credential, and Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
