TLC for Kids in Sewickley, PA (Ohio Township, Avonworth School District) is looking for an assistant preschool teacher to join our 11 teacher strong team. We are located at 1524 Mt Nebo Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. This teacher will follow the lead teacher's lesson plans and fill in the 3-year-old preschool class, and both the 4 and 5-year-old Pre-K classes.

• We are hiring a full-time teacher for 4 - 10 hour days (40 hours)
• and a part-time teacher for 2 - 10 hour days (20 hours)

Responsibilities

• Teaching 3, 4 and 5-year-old children based on the lead teachers' lesson plans, serving meals, assisting with the bathroom, and daily cleaning.
• Be caring, considerate and truly enjoy children.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Have lots of energy and a knowledge of child development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years experience working with children (childcare or babysitting experience)
• Be eligible for childcare clearances.
• Be able to obtain a physical and TB test before working with children.
