Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager Mid for a Contract job with a client in Oakbrook Terrace, IL(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have the ability to independently manage multiple projects and conduct on-site walkdowns across the service territory.
Rate Range: $83/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager Mid job responsibilities include:
Independently manage multiple substation projects through engineering, construction, and closeout phases.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with budget, schedule, and strategic goals.
Conduct site walkdowns and travel to project locations to monitor progress and resolve field issues.
Prioritize and sequence projects effectively to meet organizational objectives and resource constraints.
Influence program strategies and decisions through strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing infrastructure or utility-related projects.
Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects across various phases including engineering, construction, and closeout.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and willingness to conduct on-site walkdowns and field inspections.
