A Quality Engineer job in Aurora, OH is available courtesy of Akkodis. This position will drive a culture of quality within the organization, to improve product quality, and to act as a “hands-on” lead person responsible for spearheading quality initiatives within our manufacturing sites

100% PAID EMPLOYER BENEFITS

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000

Quality Engineer job Responsibilities:

• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

• Daily 'hands-on' inspection layout responsibilities to assist with in-process, receiving, and final inspection

• Communicates with employees to ensure that job functions are carried out for quality.

• Coordinating and communicating activities within Quality Assurance, as well as with other functional departments to meet customer on-time-delivery requirements.

• Customer-facing responsibilities which include non-conformance review, driving root cause analysis, and documenting corrective actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering required

• Minimum of 2+ years quality engineering experience in a manufacturing facility

• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and drawings, and follow directions

• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; pivot tables, statistical trending, data analysis, etc.
