Job Description

Semper Solaris is a fast-growing, well-established solar company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee its high-performing sales teams in Greater Bay Area / Central Valley / East Bay. While solar remains our core focus, we’ve expanded into a full suite of home energy improvement products—including solar batteries, roofing, HVAC, insulation, gutters, and whole home fans—providing our team with multiple revenue streams and opportunities to maximize earnings.

We are seeking an experienced solar sales leader with strong PPA and Purchase selling expertise, team management skills, and a passion for training and performance development. You’ll be stepping into a well-trained, successful sales team with unlimited preset appointments and immediate potential to make an impact. This position offers a competitive base salary plus override on the full sales team’s performance. With multiple product lines and no cap on earnings, the income potential is significant.

Offering a strong base salary of $80K–$100K, then elevate your earnings with uncapped commissions and team overrides, realistic take-home of $200K–$300K+ with no cap on your potential!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support an experienced team of solar sales professionals across the East Bay / Central valley area.
  • Conduct occasional ride-alongs to coach and reinforce sales best practices.
  • Deliver structured training programs focused onPPA sales techniques and conversion strategies.
  • Analyze team KPIs, implement performance-boosting tactics, and uphold sales standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to scale and strengthen the team.
  • Drive cross-selling across all product categories to increase revenue per appointment.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5)+ years of in-home solar sales experience with a strong track record in PPA and purchase selling.
  • Must live in the Greater Bay Area / Central Valley / East Bay.
  • Thee (3)+ years of experience in sales management or training within the solar industry.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development and accountability.
  • Experience with roofing or other home energy products is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Active CSLB Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license, or willingness to obtain one.
