Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Software VV Engineers for a Contract job with a client in Rochester, NY . The ideal Candidate must have strong VV experience in FDA-regulated environments and be able to design manual test procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve system defects and support product launches.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Software VV Engineers job responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing requirements-based manual test procedures

• Validating software in compliance with FDA and medical device regulations

• Identifying, documenting, and managing software defects

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for defect resolution and product improvements

• Participating in test planning, formal reviews, and global team meetings

Desired Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, or related discipline

• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a medical device environment

• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 standards

• Proficiency in software VV, defect tracking tools, and configuration management

• Experience writing test plans, cases, and reports within the software test cycle

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Pay Details: $47.00 to $50.00 per hour
