ROCKWOOL is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Southern California - a true professional with high energy and a proven track record of success who will represent the ROCKWOOL™ values of ambition, responsibility, integrity and efficiency. The ideal candidate is based in Southern California with a territory covering Bakersfield south, AZ and Las Vegas. This position has no direct reports and will report to the Regional Sales Manager. The ROCKWOOL Group's main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings. Responsibilities include maintaining existing business and expanding ROCKWOOL’s position as a major supplier of stone wool insulation to the entire building insulation sector in both residential and commercial channels; developing and nurturing robust business relationships with customers and industry professionals including commercial wholesale insulation and building material distributors, retail/LBM locations, contractors, architects and engineers; maintaining awareness of local competitive conditions; and achieving established sales and profit goals while operating within the allocated expense budget. Requirements include 4+ years sales experience with a strong track record of success in Building Materials/Construction sales, understanding of the commercial and residential construction process with experience working with distributors and contractors, a college degree, strong presentation and training skills, excellent time management skills, professional communication skills, solid computer skills including MS Office Suite and CRM, and local travel with ability to travel overnights up to 40% of the time.
