Gensco has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our branch in Salem, OR!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Full Time - Pay Range: $25 - $32.50 an hour

Summary - Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of a Branch Warehouse
- Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team
- Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers
- Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation
- Operate a delivery truck to deliver and unload product at customer facilities, jobsites or Gensco facilities, making multiple deliveries in one day
Skills and Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years or older
- AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred
- Prior direct customer service experience – desire to work directly with customers
- Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells
- Understanding of inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery functions
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Strong decision-making abilities - understand impact and implications of decisions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong people management and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to organize people and resources to get the job done
- Able to operate computer terminal, personal computer, and office machines
- Able to communicate with the public in person and on the phone
- Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout the facility(s)
- Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies, and inventory on a frequent basis
- Able to organize people within the Branch and promote teamwork
