Requirements: 

#We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.

#Your Role

* As a Paint Technician, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth.  You will need to possess basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft refinishing, understanding PDS Sheets, and comply with paint procedures and techniques. 

#Education & Experience Requirements

* A High school diploma or equivalent. 

* A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory

* Knowledge of Paint processes (Mixing materials, Color camera, mixing computer, Paint gun operation, Paint booth operations, Prep deck operations, Blending of single-stage and Clearcoat)  

* Journeyman: 0-5 years of experience as a Refinish technician

* Master:5+ years of experience as a Refinish technician

#Essential Job Duties

* Able to understand and comprehend PDS Sheets, mix ratios for all materials that will be used

* Able to spray Single Stage, Basecoat, Clearcoat, Primer, Anti-static, and Sealers

* Understand the functions of a spray gun and how to adjust for different materials that will be used 

* Must be able to pass the Respirator Fit Test and Medical Eval. (Full face or Half face)

* Maintenance, cleaning, and repair of shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required

* Safely operate shop equipment such as: Paint Booth, Prep deck, Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, maintenance databases, and Color matching paint computer, and Color matching camera

* Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

* Any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

* Be able to travel to customers' hangars to perform paint work as needed

#Your Sense of Responsibility

* Attend work every day as scheduled; opportunities to work overtime as workflow permits 

* Notify the supervisor in advance of the shift starting if unable to work. 

* Must have reliable transportation to get to work every day.  

* Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

* Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.

* Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

#Other particulars:

#Physical Requirements: 

* Lifts 50 lbs

* Routine walking, bending and squatting, or sitting

* Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands

* Climb ladders and stairs, and work in small, restricted areas

* Standing for long periods of time

* Be able to wear a respirator and PPE for the job function that is required

#Mental Requirements    

* Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines.

* Work with others in a professional manner.

#Supervision  

* Work under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader.

#Working Conditions  

* Work is performed in controlled environments in industrial warehouses

* Some Travel work that may take place in aircraft hangars

#Equipment Used     

*Personal hand tools, Paint guns, mixing computer, Prep deck, and paint booth. 

The 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2 pm-12 am. The shift incentive will be included.
